I had noticed before that TV channels here in the Philippines has different time on their clock, but the gap are only seconds. But this previous new year countdown (2010) is a lot different, and weird. One TV network first to do the countdown, so we cheered, we made some noise and we welcomed 2010. I switch the TV channel to another network to check what's going on, but I was so shocked when they were still one to two minutes away before 2010 countdown. For the second time around, we cheered, we made some noise and we welcomed 2010.

Less than a month, the results of November 15, 2009 Civil Service Exam will be released. Exactly one year before, I was in the same situation - waiting for the results, little bit nervous, hoping to pass the exam. Did you find something new on my blog? I guess you already knew since it was too obvious on the title what I want to tell everyone (hahaha). But if you are still having a hard time, just look around and you will see a lots of Google Ads. Although this topic maybe non-sense, what made me to continue posting is that I applied to this program not just once, not even twice, but thrice. After the rejection of my first and second application, I hesitated to submit another one. Until December 21, 2009, after 5 months, for the third time around, I applied again. After 8 days of submitting, I received an approval letter from Google, and that's it - my application in Google AdSense finally approved.

Year 2009 might be one of the shining moments in my life. Two members from our family died in this year, my paternal grandmother and the husband of my father's eldest sibling. What even worse, my uncle-in-law died one week after we buried our Lola. But still, God is great. He blessed me with many wonderful thins like the Career Service Eligibility. Before year 2009 ends, let us thanks God for this good year that have passed in our life.

This greeting must be the broadest Christmas greeting on the internet today - no colors, no decorations, no arts, but comes straight from the heart. I made this very simple as we are going to celebrate Christmas in a very simple way. Less than four hours after I published this post, Filipinos around the world will going to celebrate this Yuletide season. Even there's no classy food on our table, or no new clothes to wear, or no gifts to give/receive, may the spirit of Christmas be always in our heart not only this season but in every moment of our life.
